Qualifications / Person Specification:
7-8 PQE in Intellectual Property with experience in trade mark portfolio management is required
Advising clients on brand management strategies for their Asian and global trade mark portfolios
Handling trade mark prosecution, oppositions, invalidations cancellation/revocation proceedings in Hong Kong, Mainland China and other jurisdictions worldwide, in addition to related advisory work
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluent Mandarin is highly preferred
Demonstrated ability to handle trade mark portfolios and manage deadlines independently under high-level supervision
Strong initiative, organizational and problem-solving skills
Determination to produce top quality work to meet deadlines and under pressure
