About this team
The lululemon Liaison Office (LLO) team is dedicated to ensuring our components are produced of the highest quality, delivered when we need them, and manufactured with partners who share our commitment to elevating the world. Not only do we manage the production of great product, we also build great relationships.
A day in the life:
. Support the Merchandising Manager to manage costing, production and shipment
. Train the vendors on lululemon costing, production and logistics policies, processes and IT systems roll out new processes and systems to assigned vendors as needed
. Costing – manage the critical path from tech pack handoff through to buy released
. Core tasks include costing analysis and negotiation
. Analyze and validate cost breakdown and negotiate cost as needed, excellent at costing – strive for vendor’s costing SOP adherence
. Understand style details and can communicate comments to vendors. Input to and action new processes in tracking and costing product
. Support the Vancouver development and sourcing teams to solve the proto/costing issues
. Update costing to system
. Production – handle the buy confirmation and solve the daily production issues
. Analyze the capacity and work the best delivery with vendors during buy process
. Manage production process which including lead times (T&A), PO systems (WIP), PO change, and packaging (WWMT) etc
. Review Past Due Date and Delay Reason Code report
. Communicate delivery statuses and issues to appropriate SSC counterparts in a timely and concise manner
. Support liability tracker validation
. Work closely with our Compliance and Quality teams in ensuring that our social compliance and quality standards are adhered to and goals are met
. Arrange and attend quarterly vendors review meeting
. Visit factories for production tracking
. Shipment – manage shipment booking and shipping process with Logistic partner and vendors
. Your ideal background: Bachelor’s degree in Textiles or related fields 7+ years experience in a similar role within a production environment strong knowledge of Hardgoods – Accessories
. You are able to analyze work flow and are able to access bottlenecks are fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English
. Strong IT skills needed – you are an MS Excel guru! And you love working with a lot of Microsoft Office, and MRP and PDM softwares!
. Experience working on PLM and PO systems like Flex PLM and Tradestone.
