Advising clients on brand management strategies for their Asian and global trade mark portfolios
Handling trade mark prosecution, oppositions, invalidations, cancellation / revocation proceedings in Hong Kong, Mainland China and other jurisdictions worldwide, in addition to related advisory work
Supervising junior trade mark executives
Qualifications / Person Specification:
At least 8 years of relevant trade mark experience in a sizable law firm
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluent Mandarin is highly preferred
Demonstrated ability to handle trade mark portfolios and manage deadlines independently under high-level supervision
Strong initiative, organizational and problem-solving skills
Strong personal, communication and teamwork skills
Determination to produce top quality work to meet deadlines and under pressure
High commitment, including readiness to work late at short notice if needed
